About Us
Johan Kodiat, the owner of Von Liphier Doberman Kennel, had his own first Doberman a female called Alma in 1987. Later she gave birth to a very beautiful Doberman called Ester von Liphier in 1989. On December 1994 and January 1995, about 10 burglars robbed the house two times, tragically Alma and Ester were poisoned and killed by them. Then he purchased three Dobermans at once to guard the house, became more interested in Doberman and since then started to attend the show rings actively. In 1997, he started to breed Dobermans seriously and from time to time the quality improves progressively. At the moment, he has more than 20 Dobermans in the kennel and breed more than 50 Von Liphier's Dobermans.
Johan Kodiat was the former Vice President of West Java's Perkin (All Indonesian Kennel Club) and at the moment appointed as the Director of Research and Development of the Perkin headquarter. He is also a member of Board of Advisory of KDI (Indonesian Doberman Club) for countrywide.
Yusuf, the kennel boy and kennel main assistant. His main tasks include, but not limited to, feeding all the dogs, taking the dogs for exercise. He knows all Dobermans in the kennel like the back of his hand.
Ika, she has been working for the kennel for more than 7 years. She is the one who take care of newly born puppies and help making supplement foods for all dogs in the kennel.
Rossy, most of her day involve in paper work for the kennel. She owns some of the best breed Doberman from this kennel. Also co-founding this kennel with Johan.
Lydia, although she loves miniature pinschcer more than dobs, she knows all the history and pedigrees of all Doberman in the kennel. She is the photographer of the kennel.
Phillip, the builder. He builds all the dog cages and all structures in the kennel. Also takes care of all electricity problems and maintenance.
Erwin, the webmaster and web developer of this website. Rarely seen interacting with dogs. In fact, he prefers to sit down in front of the computer.
